Help Us Secure Boon Dwang’s Destiny.

Boon Dwang means “destiny” in Thai, and with your help, she will finally take charge of hers.

Boon Dwang is the last elephant in a hill tribe village, spending her days alone, chained on top of a hill. She is no longer working due to her owner’s advancing age, and he is unsure of what to do next for her. Eager to give Boon Dwang a better life, he wishes to retire her to BLES so that he can build a new home for his family. To support him in this remote region, we will be donating solar cells to help improve his family’s quality of life.

The journey to rescue Boon Dwang will be no small feat. She is far from BLES, and the rescue costs are substantial due to her remote location. But this will be an EPIC journey—one that brings Boon Dwang home to where she truly belongs.
